Sailing School Alumni Gathering
We would like to invite all graduates, trial members and current members who use our club sailboats to revisit our club for a special sailing school alumni event and open house on Sunday, June 4, between 10 am and 4 pm
. This will provide an opportunity for you to renew acquaintances with our club members and sailing school colleagues, and to practice your sailing skills in one of our club dinghies.
We will provide barbecued burgers, hot dogs and soft drinks and expect a fun time will be had by all. You are welcome to bring with you any friends and relatives who may be interested in sailing and possibly joining one of our sailing school courses this year.
Contact Chris Torres, our Sailing School Director here.

Trailer Sailor's Port - Our Cottage in the City
Scarborough Bluffs Sailing Club caters to sailboats, powerboats and paddlecraft. We have an excellent clubhouse with a southern exposure, sundeck, full kitchen facilities, barbecues and washrooms with showers. We are located on an island in the Bluffers Park basin with the scenic Cathedral Bluffs as a backdrop. We are a family oriented, self-help club and our boats are stored on trailers and racks, not in the water all summer. This saves us the expense of in-water slips and is one of the reasons our fees are the lowest you will find. Our masts can stay up while the boats are on the trailer and ready to go.
Boat parking fees cover the whole year.
How To Join
Maximum boat size: 8'2" width boat and trailer, 28' long boat and trailer.
Memberships are also available for those who don't own boats.
Please do not mail your application, nor get your money order until after your meeting.
You Say You Can't Sail?
We can teach you in our Sailing School.
The 2017 Learn to Sail courses run for 6 weeks, twice a week, from 6:00PM to 9:00PM.
Session 1A: Monday and Wednesday, May 29 to July 5.
Session 1B: Tuesday and Thursday, May 30 to July 6.
Session 2A: Monday and Wednesday, July 10 to August 16.
Session 2B: Tuesday and Thursday, July 11 to August 17.
Upon graduation you can, for a nominal fee, join as a trial-member for the remainder of the membership year. You therefore have the opportunity to hone your newly learned skills using our club dinghies. During this time you will have full use of the club facilities.
Come and visit us. You may find this is the perfect club for you and your family.
